Our trust has the power to move mountains, but our doubt can just as easily make them stand still, unmoving, unyielding. Relationships are never built on the illusion of conquering others; they thrive when we learn the art of humility. To nourish a bond, one must bend, endure, and sometimes even lose oneself so that the other may rise. Only in that selfless surrender can relationships truly flourish and endure.

True relationships are the most precious wealth we can possess. A moment of recognition can spark thousands of connections, and a single smile can dissolve the weight of countless sorrows. Yet, we must walk gently on this journey called life, for misunderstandings—like wildfires—can burn down the dreams we’ve spent a lifetime building.

“Beauty lies in hope, in nourishment, in companionship, and in the awakening of the soul.”

For a man who lives in poverty, beauty lies in the promise of wealth, in the freedom that abundance brings. It is found in the hope that one day he might escape the harsh grip of want and step into a world where his needs are met, where his dreams can take root.

For a person whose stomach rumbles with hunger, beauty is found in nourishment. It is in the warmth of a simple meal, the comfort of knowing that the pain of emptiness will soon be soothed. In every bite, there is a moment of solace, a fleeting taste of peace in a world of scarcity.

For someone who walks in solitude, beauty is in companionship, in the shared laughter of a friend, the understanding in another’s eyes. It is in the connection that erases the silence and fills the heart with belonging. A kindred spirit, a hand to hold, makes the world feel less cold and the path less lonely.

And for those who seek truth, beauty is in awakening—an awakening of the soul, the mind, and the heart. It is the beauty of clarity that comes when illusions fall away, and the light of understanding reveals the deeper essence of life. To awaken is to transcend, to see the world with a new lens, where every moment is infused with meaning and purpose.

When One Path Closes, Ten More Open

My heart, why do you weep in despair? Understand that what is destined will unfold, and what is meant to be will happen. When one door shuts, do not mourn, for ten more doors open before you, each leading to new possibilities and growth. Trust in the process of life, for it always carries you forward.

Consider the trees that stand tall, even when their branches bear no fruit. Do the birds not still find shelter and build their nests there? Life’s beauty is not always in the fruits of our labor, but in the strength to persist, to grow, and to adapt. What do you gain by letting fear and doubt take root? The dawn can only break after the long, dark night — every challenge carries the seed of new beginnings.

And though you may soar high, even in the boundless sky, remember that every living being must touch the earth at some point. No one flies forever without grounding. Do not let your spirit sink in sorrow. The world may seem harsh at times, yet it is in the deepest struggles that your resilience is forged. I’ve heard that those who feel most alone are the ones who, in the end, find a deeper connection, a sense of belonging that is more profound than they could have imagined.

So, hold on. Trust that life’s ebb and flow carries meaning, and that when you feel lost, there is always something, someone, waiting to guide you home.

When someone betrays us, lies about us, or slanders our name, it cuts deep. The initial sting of disbelief and hurt often gives way to sadness, anger, or even frustration. Our emotions, like a storm, swell up, and before we know it, the heaviness weighs on our hearts and our spirits. The body, too, feels the impact—stress, anxiety, even illness start to creep in as we carry this emotional burden. Relationships, once filled with trust and warmth, suddenly feel distant, strained, like cracks in a foundation we once thought was unbreakable.

In these moments, we often feel like we’ve lost something precious: our peace of mind, our joy, and even our health. The strength we once had seems to drain away as we try to come to terms with the pain that’s been caused. We find ourselves questioning everything—our choices, our trust in people, the very nature of the relationships we’ve built.

But here’s the most important thing to remember: while people may try to harm us, they can never truly touch the most sacred part of us—our inner state of mind. Though the external world may try to break us, our peace, our thoughts, and our spirit are ours to protect. We have the power to decide how we respond to these challenges. The pain may come, but it doesn’t have to define us. We can heal, we can rebuild, and we can rise above the things that once tried to tear us down. The strength to move forward is not dependent on the people who hurt us, but on the resilience we find within ourselves.

Live with Purpose:

An aimless life is a life filled with confusion and dissatisfaction. Every individual should strive for a clear, meaningful goal. However, it’s essential to recognize that the quality of your life is directly shaped by the quality of your aim. Set your sights high and broad—choose aspirations that are noble, generous, and selfless. In doing so, you not only elevate the worth of your own life but also enrich the lives of those around you. A life lived with purpose is a life that leaves a lasting impact.

The path of life is never easy…

It stretches before us, winding and uncertain, with challenges that seem to arise at every turn. Some days, the world feels like it’s burning under a scorching sun, relentless and unforgiving. There are moments when the weight of it all bears down, and it feels like we’re walking in a haze, searching for an escape from the heat.

Then, out of nowhere, the skies shift, and rain begins to fall. It’s gentle at first, but sometimes it pours, washing over us, leaving us cold and vulnerable. And yet, even in the rain, there is beauty. There are moments of joy, too, fleeting bursts of laughter that seem to grow in the most unexpected places—lifting us, even if only for a while.

But life isn’t all sunshine and rain. Sometimes, my eyes fill with tears, tears that don’t seem to have any answers. Sometimes, the world feels heavy, as if we’re carrying it all on our shoulders, trying to keep going despite the weight of it. Then, there are moments when everything feels like it’s falling into place—when the people around me come together, when everything clicks into harmony, and I remember what it means to truly belong.

And yet, there are times when the quiet is overwhelming. When, despite being surrounded by a crowd, all that remains is loneliness. It wraps around me like a cloak, pulling me into a solitude so deep it’s hard to find my way back.

It’s hard to understand how life flows, how it moves from moment to moment, always changing, always shifting. There’s no map to guide us, no blueprint that tells us what’s next. We walk this path not knowing what we’ll face around the corner—whether it’s a storm, a burst of laughter, or the quiet echo of solitude.

But through it all, one thing is certain: Life is a journey of constant transformation. It tests us, molds us, and teaches us in ways we never expect. And maybe, in the end, it’s not about understanding every step of the way, but about finding the courage to keep walking, even when we don’t know where we’re going.

Some of the best advice I’ve ever received was to seek out the kind of person who understands how to bring out the sun even during the fiercest storms. The kind of person who sees through your struggles and knows how to make you smile, even when you feel like you’re sinking into sadness.

But perhaps the most important piece of wisdom was to find someone who, in moments when you’re at your lowest, reminds you that even in the most broken of times, there’s still something worth holding on to. Someone who knows how to make the best of things when you feel like you’re beginning to unravel.

Because, at the end of the day, it’s not just about finding someone to share the good moments with—it’s about having someone who stands by you, not in spite of your flaws, but because of them. Someone who makes the difficult times bearable, and the beautiful moments even more unforgettable.

PEACE BEGINS WITHIN

Everyone yearns for peace, but how many are truly willing to give it? The world is filled with the desire for tranquility, yet we often hesitate to offer it to others. It’s easy to overlook our own mistakes, while turning the smallest missteps of others into monumental issues. We complain that our minds are not at peace—how can they be, when we’re constantly preoccupied with counting the flaws of those around us?


How do we expect to find serenity when we stir chaos in our minds over every little thing? If you truly seek peace, start by letting go of petty judgments and learn to forgive. Don’t let your soul get tangled in trivial matters that serve no purpose but to disturb your inner calm. Peace begins within, not by pointing fingers, but by releasing the weight of resentment and choosing understanding over criticism.

BITTER EXPERIENCE IN LIFE

I don’t trust anyone anymore. No matter how kind or genuine someone may seem, I can’t bring myself to believe in them. People have always only given me as much importance as it served their own needs. Once they’ve had what they wanted from me, I was forgotten, left to fade into the background.

No one ever bothered to check on me, to ask how I was doing. Yet I gave everything, always with honesty, pouring my energy into every relationship, always there when they needed me. I supported them when they were down, walked alongside them through their darkest times, and despite carrying others, I’m left alone.

I can’t stand pretending anymore. I don’t want to meet people who wear masks, pretending to care, pretending to understand. I now prefer the company of my own thoughts, my own heart. Alone, but at peace.

And the pain? It’s numb now. No matter how deeply someone cuts, or how hard they knock me down, I feel no sting anymore. Because the hands that pushed me were the same hands I trusted more than my own. Those who I thought would hold me up, instead were the ones to betray me.

I’ve learned the hard way. I see through the deception now, recognize who took advantage of me and how much. Half of my life was spent deceived by the illusion that everyone is good, that kindness is real. But now, I know better. I know the truth, and I’ll never forget the lessons I’ve learned.

While the world strives for peace, fear and competition too often drive division. But Rotary shows us that differences are not threats; they are opportunities for growth and connection. As Audre Lorde reminds us, “Difference is a reason for celebration, not destruction.”

Let us celebrate our differences, not as obstacles, but as pathways to mutual respect, understanding, and unity. In doing so, we can shine the light of Rotary and move closer to a world where diversity is embraced, not feared.

The Truth of Life

Time is relentless and does not wait for anyone. Circumstances evolve, people change, and at times, even those closest to us may become strangers. However, the true victor is the one who transforms every challenge into a valuable lesson.

Success in life is achieved by those who possess the resilience to rise after each fall. Those who avoid difficulties will find it impossible to move forward. Remember, behind every struggle lies an invaluable lesson.

When love, friendship, and relationships are genuine, they endure through even the toughest times. Conversely, those who are driven by selfish motives will eventually part ways.

Therefore, cultivate inner strength so that the arrival or departure of others does not destabilize your world. Do not fear challenges, for it is through these struggles that you develop your greatest strength.

A friend of mine usually goes for hiking with his group of friends. One day I happened to ask him what pleasure he gets that he loved hiking so much .

He said, “When I’m on the trail I’m only focused on the trail. I’m not thinking about yesterday or tomorrow. I’m not thinking about my problems . I’m only focused on the trail and my next step. With loose rocks and uneven surfaces, hiking requires you to be in the present moment.  Your next step must be your priority or else you can trip, fall and hurt yourself.”

What a great lesson for me and all of us! When you are on the trail, only focus on the trail. When you are with your family, focus on them, not work.  When you are at work, focus on your work. When you are with your kids, focus on them not your cell phone.

Be where your feet are. Be mindful in the moment. Live in the present, instead of always worrying about the future and rehashing the past.

When you’re on the path to success, focus on the process, one step at a time, to reach your destination.

It means to focus on the steps you have to take today. The 5 feet in front of you that you can see the steps. When you look at the mountaintop you can’t see the trail and the details, but when you focus on the trail in front of you, you can step over the rocks, maintain solid footing, and traverse the needed ground.

Focusing on the trail will lead to a lot less trips and falls and create more peace of mind and a much more enjoyable and successful journey!

Once a king was roaming around villages to ask about the well-being of his subjects.Then a button of his clothes broke and the tailor was called. When the tailor fixed the button, the king asked- what reward should be given for fixing the button.

The tailor said, “Maharaj, it was a very small job, it is my good fortune that I got a chance to serve you.”

The king wanted to see what the tailor asked from him, so the king insisted and asked what should be given, he said “Maharaj, whatever you wish, you can give it.”

The king told his minister to give two villages as a reward to the tailor. Now the tailor started thinking that he was asking for ten rupees and now the king made him the owner of two villages. Similarly, when we leave everything to God, then He gives according to his wish. Which is much more than the thinking of man.

If you wish to achieve long term success and everything you want in life, you need to have solid foundations such as character, values and attitudes which can happen only if you spend time in mental preparation. This is the only way you can meet the demands of pressure-cooker situations in life time and again.

It is true that if we fail to plan ahead in life we cannot succeed. It is in this context that Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
Thus, in pursuit for instant success, wealth and gratification many people do not spend quality time in preparation, resulting ultimately in their failure at the task at hand.

The quality of time you spend in preparation will be manifested in the quality and effectiveness of your life. There is no such thing as overnight success. Real success takes time, diligent preparation and painstaking effort.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving this week I’d love to share with you the benefits and power of two simple words. THANK YOU. They are two words that have the power to transform our health, happiness, performance and success.

Normally you will find that grateful people are happier and more likely to maintain good relationships . A state of gratitude also improves the heart’s rhythmic functioning, which helps us to reduce stress, think more clearly under pressure and heal physically. It’s actually physiologically impossible to be stressed and thankful at the same time. When you are grateful you flood your body and brain with emotions that uplift and energises you rather than the stress hormones that drain you.

Gratitude and appreciation are also essential for a healthy work environment. In fact, the number one reason why people leave their jobs is because they don’t feel appreciated. A simple thank you and a show of appreciation can make all the difference.

Gratitude is like muscle. The more we do with it the stronger it gets. Therefore be thankful for everything that happens in your life.

No life is devoid of problems and challenges. When you get knocked down in your life, what do you do? Do you give up easily or bounce back with greater determination strength?

A successful life often requires you to persist in the midst of setbacks. Perseverance is a skill that anyone can learn to not only survive, but thrive through life’s curves. When adversity strikes, it is not what happens to you but how you respond to what happens to you that has the greatest impact on your life.

Perseverance is the commitment you make to yourself to do whatever is necessary to accomplish your dreams and goals. Perseverance means you refuse to give up in spite of the difficulties that may surround you. It is the attitude that challenges you to say “why not?” instead of “why?”

Being persistent is the one thing which separates the winners from the losers. The world history is full of examples of people who succeeded as a result of their perseverance. “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all,” reminds Dale Carnegie.

The key in developing perseverance is taking small steps that result in small achievements, ultimately resulting in success with your objective. It is like building a jigsaw puzzle, one piece is added at a time, and eventually you have the finished picture.

The One Truth is that everything in life is influenced by oneness and separateness. For example, a team that is divided is disconnected and powerless. A team that is united is connected and powerful. The same applies to you. When you feel a sense of oneness, connection and unity, you feel strong. When you feel separate from yourself, from others and spiritually you feel disconnected, negative and weak. It’s why all mental health disorders report feelings of being isolated, disconnected, alone and separate. The more connected you feel the more positive you will be.

When you appreciate, you elevate. You elevate your state of mind, you elevate your mood, you elevate your performance, and you elevate the people around you.
Since you can’t be stressed and thankful at the same time, when you practice gratitude or the appreciations you counter the stress that drains you.

Instead of focusing on what you lack, you appreciate what you have. Instead of feeling small, you are thankful for it all. Instead of a scarcity mindset where you don’t feel like you are enough or don’t have enough, you develop an abundance mindset.

Abundance flows into your life when gratitude flows out of your heart. Where stress and entitlement cut off the flow of positivity energy into your life, gratitude for things big and small connects you to it all.

Develop an attitude of appreciation for everything that happens to you, it will certainly carry a step forward toward achieving something bigger and better than what you are presently experiencing . Appreciation is the open door to abundance

It’s true that showing appreciation is one of the simplest yet most powerful things humans can do for each other that can take us for better tomorrow.
Let’s start with the simplest things of appreciation as such thing will leave with a warm feeling to all around.

This is a popular refrain and wonderful advice. Many believe that there are only two primal emotions in the human being, love and fear, and that we cannot feel both at once. And, that in the same way that light removes darkness, love can remove fear.

Love is the ultimate way to live with a high state of mind. Love is more powerful than fear. Love casts out fear. Love is inside out. Fear is outside in. Love radiates from us. Fear tries to invade us. 

We create and live from the love inside of us to overcome the fear that tries to sabotage us. When you focus on love, fear dissipates. So, instead of worrying about the outcome, love the process. Instead of fearing what people think, focus on loving what you do.

Instead of fearing and making a mistake, love the moment and opportunity you have. Instead of living in fear, choose to live with love. You will be stronger and more powerful as you take on your daily struggles and the challenges in the world.

And once you start choosing love over fear, I bet your world will become infinitely more safe, loving, and open, so you can in fact, do what your heart most desires and grow more into your person. All it takes is an open heart, a willing mind, and the desire to feel more love.

When you look outside and worry about what people think, focus on the outcome, feel the expectations and pressure from others and believe you are a victim of your circumstances, this lowers your state of mind.
When you look inside and realize the truth, that you create your life from the inside out and that you have the power to transform your circumstances, this raises your state of mind.
So don’t look outside at your circumstances. Look within your heart, mind, soul and the power you possess to create a better circumstance.
“Your vision will become clear only when you can look within your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” Says Carl Jung.
It is not only the most difficult thing to know oneself, but the most inconvenient one too. Therefore, look within to find yourself. You get an opportunity to improve.

The answer to doubt is trust, and it’s only a thought away. When doubt comes in, choose to trust. Trust in yourself. Trust in the creator of the universe. Every addiction program believes in a higher power because it’s well known that you aren’t strong enough on your own. Your will isn’t powerful enough. But when you trust and connect with a higher power, you become more powerful than the forces and addictions that are sabotaging you.

The seeds of doubt will always come in, but you don’t have to let them take root in the garden of your mind. Each day you can weed the negative doubts to feed and nourish your garden with trust.

When we are united, we can bring the change. So unity not only gives hope and courage but also brings a change. Unity Gives Motivation: When we work as a team, we get motivated by each other and are encouraged to work harder. With motivation and hard work, we can accomplish greater goal.We cannot get inspiration in isolation but when we are together, we get inspired by each other in personal and professional matters.

Building unity demands effective communication, mutual respect, and a shared purpose. It requires transcending individual interests for the greater good and embracing compromise and consensus building. In a world often divided, recognizing the strength that emerges from unity is paramount. The force of unity can bridge divisions, shape societies, and conquer challenges, cultivating a brighter and more harmonious future when harnessed in personal lives, communities, and on a global scale.

This phrase just indicates towards the unity and teamwork. Its true that together we all are stronger than when we are alone. Together we all can win any battle by overcoming all obstacles because together we empower each other.

Unity is strength means staying united in all situations. It has great value in all walks of life. When we are united, we can surmount challenges and accomplish any goal. The development of our society and country depends on this spirit. 

We all know that India was not an independent country till 1947. The British had come to India as traders but ruled for 200 years. It was just because of a lack of mutual unity among the people of the country. The Britishers took the advantage and adopted divide and rule policy. When the Indians came together to fight for their freedom from the British, which was a must, they united and fought against the British. This example proves that when we work unified then we can bring success.

No one can grow alone. We need support from others. If we want to grow we need to work together. If we have to achieve big success , we need to work together towards that success.

Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results

Henry Ford’s quote, “If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself,” is one of my personal favourite quotes on teamwork. 

In short Together we accomplish even the most difficult tasks.

To keep on growing in life you have to keep on learning from things that happen around you. Many people are of the opinion that learning stops after you complete your education. But it is not so .

You are learning and growing every moment. Learning is only effective when you start implementing the wisdom and knowledge you get, in lives.

The more you fail, the more you learn. The more you learn, the better you get. The operative word here is to learn. If you repeat the same mistake several times, you are not learning from it. You must learn from your own mistakes and from the mistakes of others before you. The ability to learn from mistakes has value not just in business but in all aspects of life. If you live to learn, then you will really learn to live.

In life, there are no safe places or risk-free activities. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Everything in life brings risk. It’s true that you risk failure if you try something bold and new  because you might miss it. But you need to understand that you also risk failure if you stand still and don’t try anything new. The less you venture out, the greater your risk of failure.

Ironically, the more you risk failure and actually fail, the greater your chances of success.Remember that You will not able to fulfil your purpose in life without stepping outside your comfort zone and take a risk . You’ll never know what you are capable of if you give in to fear, uncertainty, and doubt. You won’t make the positive impact you want without taking risks.

Since our childhood we were taught that “hard work pays off if you wish to be good. You need to Practice, practice, practice “. Practice can make everything possible for any one and make them perfect. We must know the importance of practice in our daily life

Experts are not people with natural abilities or talents in a particular domain but ordinary individuals who attain and maintain a high level of consistency in terms of practice. So, as the old adage goes, “Practice makes perfect!”

Think about how you became good at something – be it some sport, dancing, writing, talking or whatever else you’re currently proficient in – at which you were once a novice or thought it impossible.

There is no substitute for practice, the only ‘magic formula’ that is capable of giving you the results you’re after. Practice empowers and enables you to cross boundaries,

Practice is the beginning of beautiful miracles waiting to happen. Therefore, whatever your goals, your desirable skills, your artistic aspirations and dreams of creativity, work towards building a steady and unshakable practice schedule around it. Having inserted yourself into that schedule, you will find yourself willing to entertain no compromise in exchange for your path to success and greatness!

Congenital heart diseases (CHD) account for as much as 28 per cent of all birth defects. The incidence of CHD is around 8-12 per 1000 live births. In India, every year, approximately 240,000 children are born with CHD, of which one-fifth need early intervention to survive the first year of life. These estimates are based on regional hospital-based data and the actual numbers may be higher considering the high rates of maternal infections during pregnancy and a significant percentage of unsupervised home deliveries where critical CHD may escape detection.

The magnitude of the problem is further compounded by a large pool of older infants and children who may have survived, despite no intervention.

Taking the prevalence of CHD into consideration, there are an estimated 25 million (2.5 crore) children, adolescents and adults with untreated CHD in India, which poses a huge challenge and burden on the patients, their families and on society.

If access to screening, early diagnosis and treatment is available, the baby has a 95% chance of survival with good long-term outcome.

Such advanced care is practically unavailable to over 90% of babies born in developing countries, including India.

A number of cardiac centers have been developed over the last 10 years. However, most are in the private sector, and are not geographically well-distributed.

Challenges to pediatric cardiac care include financial constraints, health-seeking behavior of community, and lack of awareness. Government of India is taking a number of steps for improving health of children through its various program and schemes that are likely to benefit children with congenital heart disease, especially those who are vulnerable and marginalized.

It will not be out of place here to mention that the number of children born with CHD in Asia have no or minimal access to healthcare, which ultimately results in a much higher child mortality rate compared with the rest of the world.Hence Rotary has to play a pivoted role in addressing this issue.

In Mumbai, Rotary District 3140 now 3141/3142  started Pediatric Heart Surgery programme in 2012-13 named as “Touching Little Hearts”. Initially limited to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (KDAH) at Andheri, District 3141 and 3142 are now undertaking such surgeries in many hospitals. Currently, apart from KDAH, Pediatric Heart Surgery programme is going on in SRCC Hospital, Haji Ali; Wadia Hospital, Parel; Fortis Hospital. Mulund and Jupiter Hospital, Thane and some more hospitals. Starting with just 50 surgeries in 2012-13, the programme has gone from strength to strength in subsequent years.

It is estimated that annually, Rotary Districts 3141 and 3142 supports about 1500 surgeries in all these hospitals costing more than Rs.30 Crores – undoubtedly the largest philanthropic activity of Rotary in this part of the Rotary World.

India is a country with more than a billion population and a crude birth rate of 27.2/1000 population. This would amount to about 28 million live births every year. Going by an
incidence of congenital heart disease (CHD) of 8/1000 live births, we could expect about
180,000 children born with an abnormal heart from these, nearly 60,000–90,000 suffer from critical CHD requiring early intervention.

Apart from Rotary District 3141/42 there are some more Districts in the county which are involved in this activity under Gift of Life or Save the little angels. We do appreciate the support Rotary is receiving from some of the corporates under ÇSR and the support from the Rotary Foundation. All the same we must realise that there are very few Charitable organisations in India which are working for the children born with this disease.
Let Rotary promote this project whole heartedly and save the children. Let’s support and help Rotary to heal little hearts and give a chance of life to children born with Congenital Heart Defects.

Everyone has their unique definition of unity is strength, but all definitions could be summed up as one word: solidarity. The proverb unity is strength means stronger together.

“United we stand, divided we fall” is a popular proverb we have been taught since our childhood . It indicates the necessity of unity and collaboration. It implies that when people are ready to stand together and work together, they are able to accomplish great things while divisions and dissensions result in downfall. In a family, group , society or nation, when the members are ready to stand together, it is not going to be easy to defeat them. But, if they are divided it is easy for others to do so.

There are many benefits of staying united in tough times, as it helps to face challenging situations with courage. The importance of staying united has struck a chord among many people throughout history.

Where there is selfishness and narrow-mindedness there’s greater tendency to fight and stay apart from each other. Where there is generosity and large-heartedness, people know how to stay happily together. Wherever we are, do we have an earnest desire to stay together and work together? Or do we, at times, or may be often, remain as agents of division and disharmony.

Yes , . when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.

Endowed with unique features and talents each of us human beings has a definite role to play in the lives of others. Each of us can definitely make a difference in the world with our uniqueness. Comparisons and unhealthy competitions may fill people with the feelings of worthlessness. But when one rises above these unhealthy traits one will be able to recognize one’s own uniqueness and the distinct role that he/she can play in the lives of the people around.

Life gives us a lot of opportunities to be the change that we want to be in our lives. The problem is that these opportunities are often disguised. Many miss the chance to be a good friend just because he/she has failed to notice a drop of tear or a tinge of pain in the eyes of another or has failed to give a node of appreciation when the other needed it the most. These things do make a difference in the lives of others.

Always remember Some people may find happiness when they have reached the top of the career ladder or live in a large home. Others may be happy living a simple yet peaceful life. Only you can decide what makes you happy. Living life to the fullest means understanding what makes you happy, what really matters, and what you want to achieve.

Despite the amazing changes the age-old evils of the society remain.  Millions are still deprived of their basic needs.  The gap between the rich and the poor still continues to widen.  Rape, violence, corruption, and conflicts based on race, region, religion, etc., are rampant.  There is a lot of hypocrisy in our talks about justice, liberty, equality and human rights.

Despite all this, there is no reason for us to despair if we are prepared to take a stand. The change should start with each one of us.  We need to be free first of all, from corrupt practices, underhand dealings and unjust behaviours.  This of course poses a challenge – a challenge to live as honest citizens of the world.   When we develop a clear conscience and live accordingly we become agents of change in our society.

Patriotism is a great virtue which all human beings need to possess. It is, in fact, an intense feeling of attachment, loyalty, love and devotion for one’s country. Patriotism consists of having a special affection towards one’s country and sacrificing for the sake of its welfare.

One who has genuine love for one’s country remains deeply concerned about its welfare and tries to do everything possible to make it a better place. Such a person is always willing to put the interest of one’s country before his/her interest.

During times of war or any other calamity which strikes a country, the people of that country are all the more moved by strong patriotic feelings. A powerful and developed nation can be built only by citizens who have great love for their nation.

It is natural that we feel proud of calling our country our motherland. When we live with deep awareness that all of us citizens of this great nation have an unbreakable bond of relationship, we cherish a vibrant sense of togetherness, brotherhood, love, peace, and harmony. As we celebrate the Independence Day of our country on 15 August and remember with gratitude all those great patriots of our country who sacrificed their life for the nation , let’s also resolve to be true patriots.

Literacy It is considered as a lifelong process of learning that enables people to achieve their goals, expand their knowledge and potential, and fully participate in their communities and wider society.
The above mentioned skills are essential for human beings to understand the world around them, to gain knowledge, to listen and learn from others and to communicate to others their thoughts and views.

Literacy is an important part of human upbringing. A literate person is more likely to gain knowledge and information from written sources such as books, letters, and other texts, and to act on that knowledge in order to live a better life in society.

Those who are literate are more capable of managing their day- to-day affairs by making more appropriate and informed decisions for themselves and for others. Those who are illiterate normally struggle to complete basic tasks and find themselves on the losing end of social life.

At the time of India’s independence the literacy rate was a dismal 18%. After several years of reforms and new policies in the field of literacy India has gained great growth in literacy. Yet, we need to keep in mind that we have a long way to go to make our country 100% literate.

We need to remember that only greater literary skills can open the doors of more and more educational, employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to the people of our country. As we celebrate the International Literacy Day on September 8 every year, highlighting the importance of literacy, let us resolve to make our country fully literate.

People roll their eyes when they hear someone talk about positivity. I want to assure them that there is nothing wrong in being a Pollyanna. Positivity is really about optimism, grit, mental toughness and energy that delivers the desired results. Positivity doesn’t ignore reality. It maintains optimism and belief in order to create a better reality.

 

Positivity attracts great people to your team and organization and helps you build a great culture. It is the glue that fosters essential relationships and connections and helps you overcome the negativity that sabotages your vision and mission.

 

How you see the world determines the world you see. A positive perspective causes you to see the world in a positive light which helps you see the good that is happening right now and create positive possibilities tomorrow. 

 

A positive mindset nourishes your mind and brain with positive thoughts and beliefs that maximize your ability and potential. I’ve never heard anyone say that someone needs to be more negative in order to get better.  Most of us need more positivity because we must constantly battle life’s challenges. 

 

A positive leader is a better leader. A Positive Leader sees a positive future and is able to rally their team to create it. With a positive mindset, a positive leader is able to encourage themselves and their team through challenges and change and develop relationships that lead to enhanced engagement and performance.

If you don’t believe that it’s possible to make new things work or to make things work differently, then it’s hard to make any progress. However good the idea be, if you don’t believe in it and in yourself, nothing will work for you. 

People who do not believe in themselves run the risk of being filled with self-doubt, low self-esteem and failure. Low self-esteem can be the root cause of some mental health problems and can set in motion a vicious circle. 

You feel bad about yourself, so you get depressed, which makes you feel even worse about yourself, so you get more depressed and on it goes, being ever so difficult to break! Only positive thinking and belief in yourself will help improve your youthfulness.

Many young people have talents they’ve never benefited from because they have never “tried” to do something new with those talents. Maybe you should give it a try. After all, nothing ventured nothing gained!

Human beings are highly prone to social conditioning. Hundreds and thousands of messages tell you who and how you are ought to be. But being who you are is the most important thing in life. To suppress it, due to fear, pressure or lack of confidence always leads to trouble. The only question that matters in life is, Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me, and which truly expresses me?

You are special. You are worthy. You have a kind of magic that can never be imitated. You are a blessing. You are spectacular. You are most beautiful when you are yourself. Your unique individuality is the most precious possession in your life.

Know that you will be a person of mediocrities if you simply use others as a model and follow the crowd. You must learn to break free from the usual and used mould and not allow the negative vibes of anyone to stand on your way of developing, promoting and living your own individuality.

Whether it’s your way of life or style of functioning, if it differs from the mainstream, then be proud of it, unless it harms others. Be a character, not a type. As the famous song goes, Life is not worth a damn until you can say, I am what I am.

Always remember “When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everyone will respect you “.

HARD WORK KEY TO SUCCESS

If we want to succeed in anything, whether study, business, music, art, acting, sports, etc., there is no substitute for hard work. The spirit of hard work is essential for setting targets and achieving results, for being efficient and effective, for being creative and productive. 

However, it is not something that comes to us naturally. It requires conscious efforts on our part. It demands also consistency and perseverance. Though some may have greater predisposition to work hard, it is only through consistent effort and dedication that one can be transformed into a hard worker, making full use of all his/her potentials. 

When we give ourselves to hard work we also learn many other important lessons for our lives like goal-setting, determination, responsibility, dedication, attentiveness, responsibility, self-control, problem-solving skills, etc. These lessons help us also to enjoy better attitudes, health, relationships, hobbies, etc. 

Always remember, Unless your experience is unique, hard work and perseverance most often lead to success. If we’re scared of hard work, we likely will have a harder time reaching success.

MY LIFE IS IN A HURRY

I counted my years and realised that I have already spent 0ver 75% of my life and now have less time to live than the time I have lived so far.

I have more past than future…

I remember the story of that  young boy who had a a bowl of cherries . At first he grabbed them hurriedly , but when he noticed there were only a few left, he began to taste passionately.

I no longer have time to deal with people with negative attitudes .

I have no desire to sit with egoistic people .

I have no time to find myself amongst those who are occupied  with meaningless discussions about the lives of others who are irrelevant to me…

I am no longer interested in spending my precious time managing the sensitivities of those who , despite their chronological age , are immature …

I hate to confront those who are selfish and interested for themselves.

My time has become scarce to debate labels.  I can understand the inner essence in this world now ….

My life is in a hurry …
Only few cherries are left in my bowl …

I want to live close to people who are “ Human “ – Humans who laugh at their own weakness, and away from those filled with self importance…

For me , the  essentials are more than enough !

Yes ! I am in hurry …

SOME STRAY THOUGHTS 

1. You are here for a reason and the most important thing you can do in life is to find, live and share your purpose. It’s the one thing in life that truly matters and if you don’t pursue it, everything else is meaningless.

2. Follow your passion. It so often leads you to your purpose. You may not know what your passion is right now. That’s ok. The important thing is to make it your life mission to find it, live it and share it. To help find your passion, seek out jobs and experiences that allow you to use your strengths and gifts. Do what energizes you. 

3. Beware of hobbies. Just because you love spending time on Facebook doesn’t mean you would enjoy working for the company. And just because you love to cook doesn’t mean you would enjoy owning a restaurant. 

4. Quit for the right reasons. Don’t quit because work is hard or you’re experiencing challenges. Quit because in your heart you know there is something else for you to do. Quit because you are not benefitting yourself or the organization you work for. Quit because you are absolutely certain you are no longer supposed to be there.

5. Learn from every job and experience. Every job, good or bad, prepares you for the work you were ultimately born to do.

6.Your current job may not be your ultimate purpose but it can serve as a vehicle to live and share your purpose.

SOME STRAY THOUGHTS 

1. You are here for a reason and the most important thing you can do in life is to find, live and share your purpose. It’s the one thing in life that truly matters and if you don’t pursue it, everything else is meaningless.

2. Follow your passion. It so often leads you to your purpose. You may not know what your passion is right now. The important thing is to make it your life mission to find it, live it and share it. To help find your passion, seek out jobs and experiences that allow you to use your strengths and gifts. Do what energizes you. 

3. Quit for the right reasons. Don’t quit because work is hard or you’re experiencing challenges. Quit because in your heart you know there is something else for you to do. Quit because you are not benefitting yourself or the organization you work for. Quit because you are absolutely certain you are no longer supposed to be there.

THINK AND THANK

“What we think, we become” says the Buddha. The ability to think and thank is something that makes humans unique and different. Psychology tells us that whatever you wish to accomplish in life you must first fix in your subconscious mind. So impress your subconscious mind with thinking and thanking.

Always think of something positive. Every dawn has something to look forward to. As soon as you get out of bed, think of something positive and make the day productive .

Watch your negative thinking. If thoughts of being helpless and hopeless continue to enter your mind, you might just need to take a nap and overcome such thoughts. Give a thought to what Norman Vincent Peale has said  “Change your thoughts and you change your world”. So start thinking of yourself as the person you want to be.

Grateful people live great lives. Learn to thank God for what you are and what you have . You will be much happier if you focus on what you are and what you have. Be thankful for the opportunities that are everywhere around you, the things you enjoy doing, the place you live in, the friends you have and so on. Gratitude also turns your negatives into positives. Appreciate what life gives you every day and you’ll be happy.

ALWAYS USE KIND WORDS

Does not your heart burst with happiness when someone speaks to you words such as “You’re so wonderful,” “I love you,” etc.? Yes, they give you a high; they sure make your day! You feel positive, encouraged, motivated and loved. How about when someone’s words hurt you? Suppose they call you “stupid,” or “ugly” . You probably would feel like someone piercing your heart with a sharp double-edged sword.

True , the right words spoken at the right time can make all the difference in building people up. Right words delivered at the right moment have tremendous power and enormous weight.

You need to be mindful of the words you speak.It means thinking well before speaking. Give a thought to how your words could make or mar others in a given situation. Be aware of what you say at any given moment. Your words can make a big difference in someone’s life.

When you know the power your words can have you’ll do well in choosing the right words. Do not take your words for granted.

Remember: It’s not just what you say that matters, but also how and when you say it. A right word spoken at the right time can actually be life-changing and life-giving.

Avoid making unkind remarks and statements. Be empathetic. Let your well-chosen words be comforting and soothing in moments of pain. Let them bring about a change in someone’s life!

Always remember, Those sweet souls who speak kind words when they could rightly criticize are the most influential beings in all the world.

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity,” thus health is defined by World Health Organisation. 

Being healthy is not merely the absence of disease but a combination of sound body, mind and spirit. It is quite natural for all of us to aspire to be healthy physically as well as mentally, emotionally, morally and spiritually though it is not always attainable.

 
Studies have shown that our thinking and our state of being are interlinked. We are able to think better when we are physically healthy and fit. So pay attention to your physical appearance and feel good about your physique. Nourish your body with healthy food, regular exercise and sound sleep every night.


Our ability to function well will also depend on what we choose to think . If we choose to think positive of ourselves and carefully watch our thoughts and thinking pattern, we will be healthy. So one needs to strive to have an optimistic mindset.

Spiritual and mental health is something we often ignore and we don’t even consider it to be part of our overall health. It is, in fact, in this realm that we discover the purpose and meaning of our lives. It gives us peace and harmony within us as well as outside. 
Hence the importance of maintaining a well-balanced lifestyle which willl help you to think positive thoughts and live a truly healthy life.

Beauty Of Life

Life is a consequence of the times we live in. Life is the real thing. Many people spend their life worrying about everything. Even the smallest obstacle is branded as a problem. If problems can be solved, why worry? If problems cannot be solved, then worrying will do no good. If you consider your life as a blessing enjoy it and do what interests you, at least one person will be happy.

Have a Guru (teacher) in your life. A good coach can change a game. A great Guru can change a life. In this life, Rotary has become a guru to many of us in more ways than one. It has taught us, guided us and helped us to do good to others even when you know that they cannot return your kindness except to say, “Thank you,” from some corner of the world. Rotary has enriched our life by making us realise that even the smallest act of caring for others is like a drop of water – it can make ripples throughout the entire pond.

In this life, Rotary has shown us that it is much more than a movement that has given a space for us to gather and share some fun-filled moments. It has given us an opportunity to heal the wounds of people, create jobs, develop economic activities, eradicate diseases, hunger, illiteracy and more importantly sow the seeds of love and peace in the community. Rotary has shown that for our projects to be successful, the activity must not be just for the community, it must be built in partnership with the community. That is why day after day, life has to be a constant process of learning and Rotary gives us the opportunity to hear from people about their hopes for a better life and what they expect from Rotarians. 

One of the secrets of fruitful living is to understand that life is the most beautiful and gratuitous gift. We have to work hand-in-hand with our neighbours to ensure that our life goes on without much hiccups. We must use Rotary as an economic engine to bring hope to thousands of people during these trying times. This will make your life beautiful.

If you are looking for a source of inspiration lately, for a reason to be optimistic about the direction in which your life should move forward, look within yourself. Spend time today, tomorrow and every day visualizing good life for millions of people in this planet. You will be inspired and this is the promise of nature. This will make your life beautiful.

You will wake up every morning with a happy thought of life and will be motivated to engage with your community. You will see a recurring tension between your own ambitions and your duties to your family and society around you. But, it is a tension that anyone working for the welfare of the community and change needed knows very well. This is the beauty of life.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

Success is important. We definitely need to be achievers but we also need to enjoy the path we take to achieve our goals. At certain times in our lives, we need to be daring enough to take a path not trodden, or to befriend a person whose relationship with us is not likely to bring any economic or emotional benefits. Happiness and joy can be found not only in the destination but also in the journey.
We might choose the wrong way, might fall for the wrong person, occupy the wrong chair or board the wrong train, but remember, life is not all about well calculated moves. Although well made plans can help you reach your goal easily by minimizing hurdles and maximizing profit, allow yourself room for the occasional fall or the unexpected encounter with a perfect stranger in times of struggle. These too will give you as much or even more joy than merely reaching your goal without encountering trouble.

Always remember At each stage of life you can plan all you want, but learn to expect the unexpected because whether you want it or not, the unexpected will be a part of your life

WHAT’S INSIDE YOU?

“It’s easy to find the talent. The key is to find out what’s inside them.”

While talent is easy to spot, it’s a more investigative process to attempt to decide if a person has the mindset, character, attitude, work ethic, grit and resilience to overcome adversity and failure in order to succeed at the highest level .

The interesting thing about trying to decide what’s inside someone is that I believe everyone has greatness inside them. I believe deep down every one has the potential qualities that every organisation is looking for. I believe everyone is born with grit. If you were a child learning to walk and kept getting up after falling down, you had and have grit. If you kept your promises or admitted when you didn’t, then you have lived with integrity. If you loved the game, before it felt like a job to live up to the expectations you and others have placed on you, then you’ve had a love for the game.

So, I think the deeper question is, ” Id there anyone who has discovered the power inside them?”

Is there someone who realizes that there is greatness within hin/her? Do they know they are more powerful than their circumstances? Have they tapped into the love, joy and goodness within them? Do they feed the positive or negative inside them? Do they allow fear to inhibit them or love to propel them?

Everyone has this power inside them. Everyone has the power to work hard, be resilient and gritty, live with character and integrity, stay positive and be an overcomer.

The ones who thrive are those who tap into it and unleash it.

YOU ARE THE CREATOR

When the RI President for 2023-2024, Gordon R Mclnally, who belongs to Scotland, gave the theme, Create Hope In The World’ he gave all of us, especially leaders such as yourselves, the role to be Creators.

So, if you are going to be the Creator, what should you do? You have to cause something new to happen or exist. What is that you need to create urgently now? You have to create the atmosphere for bringing the world into an orderly existence.

In Rotary, like in any other field, when you want to be the Creator, you have to sharpen your skills, imaginations and ability to move with people. As a Creator you have to invent, produce, bring out new concepts, and achieve goals,

Today, with chaos and turmoil going on in many parts of the world, one can easily say, “The most dangerous creation of any society is the man who has nothing to lose.”

But that is exactly why Rotary’s theme is Create Hope In The World.

We have to create the desire and hope to live peacefully within people in every part of the world and show how it can be done.

The thrill that can go through the human heart of the Creator as he sees some of his creation of the brain unfolding to success is an unmatched happiness. Such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, and everything.

When Rotary created the hope that Polio can be eradicated and all of you worked tirelessly, every year the results we saw made us believe more in our ability to bring hope to millions of children, especially to their parents, that we can conquer the crippling disease.

When India was declared Polio Free in 2014, the happiness that unfolded in the country within every one of over 1 billion citizens is a case you should remember.

For Rotarians who worked it was a momentous occasion and I can recall that I could not sleep for days and I went about thanking God, The Creator, for blessing our country.

Many of the leaders in the Rotary World have attributed the creation of the Ulema Committee by me as the major reason why Polio was eradicated sooner here.

I am humbled by your confidence in me and I again recall the many trips organised by the INPPC to remote areas in UP, Bihar , Malegaon and few other States which needed more messages of hope and confidence that the polio vaccine will work.

It did work and this was the reason why the Governments across India tied up with Rotary to fight Covid 19.

The Government knew that Rotarians can Create Hope within people that Covid can also be contained and as the Chairman of Rotary india’s Covid Vaccination Task Force, I was able to get all your support and we took the message of hope to millions who were unwilling to get vaccinated.

Be the Creator of such hopes. Any authentic creation will be your gift to the future of mankind. The richest source of creation is the feeling, followed by a vision of its meaning.

But first understand this. Life in Rotary is not about finding yourself. Life in rotary is about creating yourself.

You are God’s highest form of creation. You are a living and breathing magnet. You have the ability to control what you attract into your life. So, if you attract love and peace, you can create more love and peace elsewhere and create hope in the world that Peace is Possible.

It is said that before commencing creation of this universe and all that is here, Lord Brahma performed yagnas since anything created has to be maintained only through sacrifice.

This is what this DTTS and AGTS aims to do. If you want to be the creator, you should also put into action our sacred Motto, Service Above Self.

If you understand that Creativity is also about connecting things, you will not wait for inspiration. You will have to go after it with a hammer.

As our RI President-elect has said, you have to come up with creative solutions to develop the mental health of people. This is the basis for peace. So, what can you create new in the years to come?

First, you have to create confidence amongst your Rotary club members that the organisation they have joined is capable of solving mega issues the world faces now.

For this to happen you have to create a harmonious atmosphere within the members of the clubs and district. If there are bickerings about elections, posts, procedures, accounts and such matters in the club and in the district then DTTS and AGTS would not have served any purpose.

Only when you are able to look beyond yourself and see the Rotary organisation as an entity that was created to do good in this world, can you aim to create hope in the world.

Paul Harris created Rotary to constantly inspire the next of leaders to create the change they want to see in this world. The leadership programmes such as DTTS and AGTS were launched over the years by Rotary leaders to connect emerging changemakers and equip them with tools and support they need to create hope in the lives of millions of people.

You can say that these seminars are a way helping Rotarians to explore a career in public service.

As we wrap up this year and get ready for the next one, it’s worth taking a look back at how far we’ve come. By any measure, 2022 – 2023 is a historic year. We have a lady Jennnifer Jone as our world leader for the first time.

We were able to control the unchecked spread of disinformation about the spread of Covid and we also saw the growing number of Rotary District leaders who refused to stand up for any move that threatened to scuttle our democratic function.

What gave me hope this year was seeing so many Rotarians around the world fighting back, especially the young leaders that Rotary is grooming to change the world.

Our network of leaders in India are already starting to have an impact on different issues and in different communities. And the more activists, organizers, and entrepreneurs I meet, the more I believe in their potential to create hope in the years to come.

Your training here must empower emerging leaders, the young people committed to making their communities better through a values-based approach.

Let’s address issues of systemic racism and gender discrimination in order to build a more diverse and representative generation of leaders in Rotary.

As the calendar turns to a new year in July 2023 with new possibilities and opportunities to inspire positive change around the world, I hope you’ll celebrate by making a strong decision today to put an end to all negative energies that are preventing the growth of many clubs.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

The challenges we face are too great for any one person to solve. It will take sustained effort from brave leaders, organizations, and committed supporters like you willing to work together to make progress possible.

This is what you learn here today and you have to share this knowledge with your club members. A post in the District Administration is not what counts in your life. You have to put life into Rotary, your life. There is no time to waste.

Rotary is expanding its work to train young people across this country with the DTTS and AGTS program that will allow more people to be a part of our growing network of leaders from around the world.

And while these young people are working on the front lines of a range of issues, one thing that has become obvious is that progress on so many of them is linked to a broader commitment to democratic values of Rotary.

Right now, democratic ideas are under assault around the world and also to some extent in service organisations and NGOs. This has nothing to do with traditional partisan lines or policy preferences. What’s being challenged are the foundational principles of the movement itself.

That’s why such training seminars aim to bring together some of the remarkable young leaders in our network with some of the top thinkers and practitioners in the field so we can protect, improve and develop Rotary clubs.

It’s fair to say that we won’t solve this in 24 hours. The reasons for democratic backsliding are complicated and varied, but leaders have identified a few issues where we can start digging deeper.

Stalwarts of Rotary explored ways to create a more inclusive and sustainable model of Rotary leadership, so that members feel they’ve got real leadership opportunity.

You must reimagine both our traditional and social media platforms to curb toxic disinformation and encourage a healthier exchange of ideas, strengthen the forces of pluralism in an increasingly diverse world by looking at the story we’re telling about our culture, values and identity – because for any genuine service organisation to function, all people need a seat at the table.

Making progress on many issues is a project that will take decades, not years. But it will be driven by the ideas and insights of a new generation of leaders who are better attuned to the changes that are taking place around the world. We want you to be those leaders.

So, what will you create? Create jobs, create healthcare facilities, create educational institutions, create confidence, create happiness for all these are the ways in which you can create hope in the world.

From the beginning, we’ve set out to be a different kind of organization, and that extends to the way we talk about our work. Rotary club’s annual report isn’t just a place to share financial data or metrics—the kinds of things you’d usually expect from a yearly readout.

You must see it as an opportunity to tell our story, the story of Rotary in every part of the country. Your voice will help shape this organization and by sharing it with your members, you must create hope that nothing is too difficult for Rotary to do.

Your Rotary story must be about how diversity and inclusion are core to our calling and our conduct.

For Rotary International, expansion is important as It will enable this organization to encourage and affect change locally, while showcasing the Internationality to the rest of the world.

Rotary’s plans have been collaborative from day one, built in partnership with thousands of people who have offered their ideas and feedback in person and online.

We’ve been building this hope together from the start. Let’s carry this over the finish line for that alone strengthens the hope that ‘We can do it together.’

As we look to the year 2023-2024, I could not be prouder of the work we’re doing and the change our young leaders are making in their communities. I hope you’re just as excited as I am for the year ahead. From my family to yours, I hope you have another joyful Rotary New Year.

Happy International Women’s Day

The millennium women – she is strong, yet gentle. Courageous, yet kind. She knows she can fly. She is the woman who is expanding her horizons. She is rooted in human values. She keeps in step with evolving hopes and aspirations of the Indian woman – ever changing, yet never changing.

She has the courage to dream and strive to make it happen. She is not content to drift along but has a definite goal and purpose in life. She plans to make a difference.

I applaud and recognise both the very essence of her femininity as well as the evolution that takes her bravely into the new millennium. A tribute that will make her proud, inspire and energize her to move on to new achievement.

As I salute the dynamic achievers, the women of tomorrow, I see them everywhere. She is there in your home, in your office, in the battlefield, in the sports arena and in every technologically advanced field. She is what makes the world go round. Yesterday. Today, in the new millennium and for eternity.

Please accept my greetings on the day that recognizes the contributions that women have made to make this world a better place.

THE POWER OF LOVE ..

This RI theme given during 1988-1989 by the then RI President Royce Abbey from Australia is still relevant while talking about how to take our movement to greater heights, especially after a charged training seminar like this.

Rotary members are the true pillars of the Rotary movement in spreading the divine message of Service Above Self to one and all . And now you will be the source of communication and motivation to Rotarians in 3053 as the true representative of your Governor PAWAN .

This privilege of Rotary membership to bring about a change in the lives of people worldwide will be a doorway to the liberation from disease, hunger, illiteracy and such things which hinder the peace process.

Rotary clubs must be considered as a powerfully consecrated space which helps to hasten our inner growth with disciplined , spiritual and ethical practices.

To understand the beauty of life in Rotary you have to dissolve and see how you become as a human being.

If you have to dissolve in the life of Service in Rotary, you have to realise that something here is more significant than yourself.

That realisation will make things happen. You will become an extension of Rotary, not an individual existence. You will see that being an extension is not an idea but a reality.

But somehow many people got the silly idea that they are an entity by themselves in Rotary.

When you become an extension of creation, in this case an extension of Rotary itself, you become a Rotarian in its real sense . This means you have become a limb of the ultimate creation, in this case the Rotary movement itself.

When you become the limb of the ultimate Rotary philosophy, whether you become a President, DG, Director, Trustee, District Officer or club President and when you act, you will do only that which works for everybody.

Everything you do will support the ecology and environmental process in society and more specifically within Rotary.

This programme was designed to remind you of the importance of value-based leadership. You were made to know your role , the importance of membership, the value of our Foundation and many more important issues which will make things happen in 2023-24 .

Rotary’s history was shaped by how we were led and the future will depend on how you lead.

Rotary leadership programmes are dedicated to make you committed and empowered leaders who can change the world for the better.

Remember that Club Champions programme is an opportunity to take your efforts to the next level! I am asking you to launch of Club Champions programme in every club.

Make it a platform for celebrating the unsung heroes of your clubs .

Make it an award program to identify, recognise and reward members who are tirelessly working towards building a better future for the community and for your clubs .

The Club Champions awards will amplify their desire to continue in Rotary and give the members an access to a vibrant network to grow their ripples into waves of change.

10 THOUGHTS ABOUT LEADERSHIP

Whether you are a leader of a business, team, or Rotary Club I hope you’ll be encouraged to be a better leader.

  1. People follow the leader first and the leader’s vision second. – It doesn’t matter if the leader shares a powerful vision, if the leader is not someone who people will follow the vision will never be realized. As a leader, who you are makes a difference. The most important message you can share is yourself.
  2. Trust is the force that connects people to the leader and his/her vision. – Without trust there is a huge gap between the leader and the vision. Without trust people will stay off the bus. However if people trust the leader they will hop on the bus with the leader and help move the bus forward towards the vision.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

March 8 is celebrated every year, as International Women’s Day .  On this day, we specially honour, and recognise women and express our deep gratitude to them for what they do and sincere appreciation for what they are. It also reminds us of our duty to come together to create a world where women and men are respected, valued and treated as equals, free from various kinds of prejudices and discriminations. 

Women Empowerment means making women strong enough to stand on their feet and make their own decisions. Women have been the victims of male domination and exploitation throughout the human history and even today, they’re deprived of many of their basic human rights. Nowadays, a great awakening is taking place all over the world for women empowerment. Rotary Clubs all over india honour snd felicitate women throughout the month of March.

“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform,” says Diane Mariechild, the famous author of Mother Wit. It’s enough that we encourage and support women to recognize and realise their real strength. Women’s empowerment has to be one of the top priorities in our country. Are we ready to make it one of th one of the top priorities in our lives .

In spite of all our differences, we need one another to grow as social beings. But the sad fact is that individualism has been raised almost to a religion. Success justifies greed and greed justifies indifference to fellow human beings. 

The fact is that we truly do complement one another. We share the commonality called humanity. Though our differences vary, our basic needs remain same. There is no true life and happiness for us in the absence of our fellow-humans. It is the feeling of getting accepted and being loved that acts as a driving force in our lives. We will experience the real joy of living only when we realize that each of us is a piece of a puzzle, and that without one another, we would make the picture incomplete. 

Our differences should make us reach out to one another. They should bring us closer together in order to learn from and about one another. That’s how we grow. We need to celebrate difference until it doesn’t t make a difference. 

Finally, togetherness brings about progress. What cannot be achieved by a single soul, can be achieved by the combined efforts of many. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Says Helen Keller . Remember the age-old saying, “United we stand, divided we fall .

WIN OR LOSE

Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.

Sometimes we win  the game, the award and sometimes we lose the very thing we want most.

Winning matters. Losing matters. But in life what matters most is what we do with our wins and losses.

When we win do we become complacent or stay humble and hungry?

People often say that success breeds success but often it breeds complacency. After a win people think they can just show up and achieve the same result, forgetting the effort, determination and mindset it took to achieve the win.

To continue winning it’s essential to turn the euphoria of winning into a fire of burning desire that fuels your continuous improvement, passion, and quest for excellence.

Even more important than what we do after our wins is how we respond to our losses. Do we give up or come back stronger? Do we allow the loss to act like a cancer that eats away at us for the rest of our life or do we turn it into a learning opportunity that leads to our healthy growth?

Everyone loses but the key is to make the loss stand for something and that is  learning Opportunity ,and  Staying Strong .

When we lose we ask what we can learn from this loss and how we can improve because of it. Then we stay strong and work harder to get better.This leads to more wins in the future..and also more losses that give us opportunities to learn more and develop our character stronger.

Through this process of winning and losing we learn the greatest lesson of all:

No matter how hard we work and how much we improve there will be times when we experience the worst of defeats instead of the greatest of victories.

 But ultimately life is about more than winning or losing. It’s about the lessons we learn, the character and strength we build and the people we become along the way.

The age old saying of Srimad Bhagvat Geeta, has been recited trillions and trillions of times, it says You have the right to work only but never to its fruits. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.
Best way to live a great life is to Keep adding to the reservoir of your *सत्कर्म*, which are said to promote health and well-being by purifying the whole body , being kind to others, selflessly helping anyone in need, bringing positive changes in someone’s life .
You don’t have to wait for someone to get into trouble and then reach out to him… be proactive, preempt the kindness that you can do to the society and the humanity when you are blessed enough with the strength to bring about a positive change! Possess positive attitude and thoughts, do good to others, spread love, harmony, kindness , peace with benevolent intentions, do your best possible to drive away misery from the lives of His  creations and stay blessed .

LETTING GO ….

One of life’s biggest challenges is to let go. The only way to go beyond where we are in our life is to let go of things, people, habits and beliefs that keep us where we are instead of where we want to be. For a trapeze artiste, to get from one side of the net to the other, he or she must be prepared to let go. Similarly, we cannot discover new oceans unless we have the courage to lose sight of the shore.
We should not forget that as long as our palms are holding on tight to people and things, we cannot be open to receive the beautiful gifts that life has to offer. Therefore, we need to take stock of every single thing that holds us back and exchange those limitations for a life of limitless potentialities and possibilities, a life that is more personally and professionally fulfilling and rewarding. To achieve this, sometimes we simply have to let go!

When I am the reason for a smile on someone’s face, it gives me most satisfaction in life. The reason for a smile by giving away generously the things I love the most; inspiring someone with my simple and kind actions; by reaching out to people especially the needy; by healing someone with my gentle touch; by listening, caring and understanding someone wholeheartedly; by cheerfully sacrificing myself for someone in need; by forgiving or asking forgiveness from someone with a sincere heart; by praying and feeling deeply for someone; by struggling day in and day out for someone’s welfare. When I look behind, these are the moments inscribed on my heart which give me the most satisfaction and comfort in life .

NO RISK, NO REWARD!

No risk, no reward. It’s a very true saying. I truly believe in it. When you think about business, if you don’t take any risks, how are you going to get ahead? How are you going to leapfrog ahead?

If you think that success in life and in career is all about luck, think again! Shallow people believe in luck whereas wise people in cause and effect.

No wonder, Virgil, the greatest of the Roman Poets, wrote 2,000 years ago, Fortune sides with him who dares. In short, good fortune does not come to us; we go to it by taking risks.

Would Columbus have found the new world had he not dared where no one had gone before? Everything we are as a people was created by others before us who risked it all.

Perhaps the greatest risk in life is not taking any risk. By not taking risks we don’t grow. Our reluctance to take risks prevents us from living a quality life. A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for!

For some, taking risks involves the possibility of losing money, If so, let us ask ourselves before taking every risk, what is the worst thing that could happen? If we balance that with the best thing that could happen, isn’t the best possible outcome of our risk-taking always worth?
Therefore, dare yourself to risk, for your life is worth it. For me, Risk leads to Reward. Take a stand to do what you believe, and then stick to the game plan!

50% of resolution makers will fail by the end of January.

But One Word sticks!

Instead of creating endless goals and resolutions, I choose One Word to be my driving force for the year. Just one word that creates clarity, power, passion and life-change.

WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT???

Life is a beautiful journey that is meant to be embraced to the fullest every day. However, that doesn’t mean you always wake up ready to seize the day, and sometimes need a reminder that life is a great gift. 

Life is not about keeping score nor Its about how many friends you have. It is not about who your family is or how much money they have. Or what kind of car you drive. It is not about how beautiful or ugly you are. Or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on, or how many credit cards you are holding. It is certainly not about how smart you are, how smart everyone else thinks you are.

But life is about who you love and who you hurt. life is about who you make happy or unhappy purposefully. It is about keeping or betraying trust. It is about friendship, used as sanctity, or as a weapon. It is about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening. It is about what judgments you pass and why. And who your judgments are spread to. 

But most of all, it is about using your life to touch or poison other people’s hearts in such a way that could never occurred alone. Only you choose the way these hearts are affected and those choices are what life is all about. 

Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but of moments. Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant. In simple words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on. If my life is going to mean anything, I have to live it myself.”


For me the most important Four things in life are – your character , your health, your mission, and the people you love. That’s it.

And most importantly “Success isn’t about how your life looks to others. It’s about how it feels to you.”

I like to be remembered by generations after me, definitely not as foe, but a dear and a close friend; one who brought smiles on many faces; upon whom people could bestow their faith; one who was with others in their good and bad days.

LOVE THE GREATEST GIFT ….

Love is beautiful, spacious, exhilarating. When we truly love, it’s not only the body of the other person we love. If we only love the body, then it’s not love — it’s lust. When we really love someone, we love their essence, their soul, the core of the other person, not only their body. That’s how you know it’s really love.

The dilemma is that so often we don’t really love someone’s core essence – we only love what they do for us or how they treat us or how they make us feel. And, when we love for that reason, that’s more like a contract than like love.

“When someone says he loves you more, he does not mean he loves you more than you love him . He means he loves you more than the bad days ahead of both of them . He loves you more than any fight both of you will ever have. He loves you more than the distance between both of you . He loves you more than any obstacle that could try and come between both. He loves you the most.”

All the same Love isn’t about turning a blind eye to difficulties. It’s about identifying them, understanding them, and moving forward despite them. Love presumes to see the other person in their most authentic light, to acknowledge all their imperfections, and choose to embrace them.

When problems ensue, one should not disregard them, and one should avoid pointing fingers at each other as it can only cause additional conflict. Partners in a relationship should act accordingly by working together to find a solution that benefits both of them.

All said and done, I would say that Love is the greatest gift given to man! Save it and enhance it .

Life is a beautiful journey that is meant to be embraced to the fullest every day. However, that doesn’t mean you always wake up ready to seize the day, and sometimes need a reminder that life is a great gift.

We come into the world through birth; we grow, mature, decline and then die. Is it life all about? Then what is the difference between animals and humans? Are we really alive or are we just existing? For many of us, life is like ‘sleep-walking’ with a few of our needs met and doing the same thing everyday.

Most of the time our decisions are based on habit, tradition, obligation, or the expectations of others. How wonderful it is when you are living fully a conscious life that speaks who you are and reflects fully the values and aspirations most important to you! You feel fully connected to those you love, engaged fully to life itself and are living a life that is an expression of human warmth and beauty of the inner and outer self.

Every flower blooms only for a few hours in a day. However it looks beautiful and brings joy to all who look at it. Similarly it does not matter how long we live. All that matters is the way we live.

Therefore, Start living to make a difference and leave a legacy. The real secret of living a significant life is to stay fully alive till your last breath.  “Sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”

Whether you are ready or not, one day the entire life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching! Therefore, do all the good you can, for all the people you can, in all the ways you can, as long as you can.”

TAKE THE FIRST STEP ….

The Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said; “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”. He wasn’t wrong, because you won’t get anywhere unless you start the journey.

The proverb ‘a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step’ means that big achievements and goals are made through small but concrete resolves. Dreams and life goals are achieved by making a path plan and taking the first step towards it.

The first step is often the most important , difficult and feared one. You must remember if the first step is not taken then the journey will remain only a dream and will never be realised. However long the journey is, it only materialises with the first step you take, that indicates your resolve.

Taking the first step may not seem easy, but it is necessary to get closer to our dreams. True , It is not easy to begin a new thing, it takes courage and determination. But, if you focus on the first step and keep moving forward, you can achieve your goal. Haven’t we experienced it in Rotary’s Global Polio Eradication Initiative?

The key is to focus on single steps and not on the final goal, It all starts by taking that first step. One of the reasons many people cannot fulfil their dreams is that they give up at the very beginning. Either they are afraid to begin or feel they are incapable. When we take the first step, we are surrounded by uncertainties, so we may feel frightened, but as we move along, we start to feel confident and strong enough to overcome the challenges we may encounter.

We should not be afraid to take that much-needed step. If we want to achieve something great in life, we can take some time to prepare for it, but should not hold ourself back for too long. Until we take the first step, we will stay where we are in life.

*Happy Morning!*
All of us have our strengths and weaknesses. One of the very natural tendencies of human beings, is to project our strengths and downplay our weaknesses because we do not wish the world to see our limitations. So, the game we play is to justify them and make them appear as insignificant elements… and that surely takes up lot of our precious time and energy which does *NO GOOD* to us. The same time and energy can actually be and must be invested to overcome our weakness which would do wonders!
Identify your weaknesses, work on them by investing time trying to overcome them, know the areas that need improvement and do whatever it takes to vanquish them, Stay positive no matter what the circumstances are and *Go On *. By Going On You will have enough time and energy to convert your weaknesses into strength and *GROW!*

HAVE A GRATEFUL LIVING

 It’s so important to spend some time each day in our busy life reflecting on things that fill you with gratitude. Even when times are tough, there is much to be grateful for. Gratitude is the greatest virtues in our life.


“Grateful living is important in the world because, in our constant pursuit of more and better, we can easily lose sight of the riches that lie right in front of us and within us” says Guri Mehta. Anyone who chooses to follow the path of grateful living will take note of everything that is already present in life, not taking anything for granted. When we try to live gratefully, we focus our attention on all those persons and things and opportunities that come on our way. Grateful living generates in us several other virtues such as respect, kindness, love , responsibility, appreciation, simplicity, humility, generosity and peace. 


When we try to live gratefully every day, it enriches our life, makes a vital difference in the lives of others and transforms the world. However, we need to admit the fact that living with gratitude is a really not that simple . Human as we are, when we go through many unforeseen, difficult and painful situations in life, it’s difficult for us to be grateful. However, if we try to maintain persistently and intentionally an attitude of gratitude, we’ll never have to regret about it. It will certainly lead us to greater peace , joy and happiness in our lives.


It is said that “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.

Owning Mistakes is a Mark of Leadership…

There is no one in this world who doesn’t make mistakes… even best of the leaders have made mistakes. A good leader takes the responsibility while a bad leader starts looking for scapegoats on whom the blame can be transferred!

Admitting and taking responsibility for a mistake means a willingness to show human vulnerability and transparency – which cultivates a sense of trust, adds to your credibility as a leader and earns respect. “Typically, when leaders realize they’ve made a mistake, others have noticed, too.

Owning your mistake also provides an important sense of safety as a leader, and puts more validity behind your word.

The mantra is to take the mistake as an opportunity, draw out lessons from that, make corrections and recommence the journey.
Owning a real mistake is about owning a clearly bad judgment or decision as something you are capable of as a human, so you can acknowledge and learn from it. It’s about knowing you are big enough to admit an error, not making yourself smaller.

Possess positive attitude and a realistic mindset, do not add fuel to fire by exaggerating the mistake and commencing a blame game, take ownership of the mistake, learn from it, do not repeat the mistake and *Go On Going On.* You will reward yourself and your team with fresh direction, great hope and eventually achieve success. Learn to accept the mistakes and correct those for the betterment of yourself and your organization.

The Rotary Foundation solely depends upon Rotarians to turn its objectives to realities. We must demonstrate our passion for service and our visions of a strife-free world to turn this world into a liv-able, lovable and luminous place to enjoy.


Rotarians have the energy to turn our vision into reality. Mother Teresa has amply demonstrated what passion and commitment can achieve.
If we have the energy, we must be passionate for service. The ultimate goal of service is world peace. All our programmes of The Rotary Foundation aim at achieving a more peaceful globe.


Our multiple programmes of The Rotary Foundation – and the very important programme is polio eradication – aim at securing a happier world which can then ensure peace.


If peace is our objective and service acts are the roads leading to peace, we must ensure that we have funds to attain our objectives.
We need more funds. We have many opportunities. We need to join these two with a strong bond that can survive upheavals.


Rotarians have earned the respect of communities. Now if we have enough financial support, we can earn success. In order to succeed, we will need extra commitment, brighter visions and unwavering passions to utilize our financial resources to the maximum.

SHARE THE GLORY, ACCEPT THE BLAME

When the team does well and is recognized, it’s the leader’s responsibility to spread the benefits around. A public pat on the back, a bonus from the top, a write-up in the club bulletin – whatever form that recognition takes, everyone should get a generous share of it.
People always appreciate being included in praise. It encourages them to give their greatest efforts and makes them want to work again with the leader who guided them to this success. And this kind of graciousness has one another benefit: in the end the leader gets a big share of the credit anyway. 
When it comes to criticism, be a smart leader and take exactly the opposite approach. Don’t point the finger at others. Never raise public complaints about the “weak link” in the chain. Success in the long run is always related to our truthfulness. Another quality  that is needed when you become successful is humility. Humility is a powerful quality which can make a person a visionary and a respected human being for generations to come.

No one likes arrogant persons. People tend to remain away from such
self-centered individuals instead of coming close and providing support to them. Arrogant people have fallen and have been crushed into the dust, as history has shown us time and again.

Egoistic people are the most unhappy people inside. They are always trying to dominate other people with all that they have. Tools like – I look good, I am intelligent, I am rich, I am smart, I have a beautiful personality, I am an achiever, the list is endless.

Apart from humility, your honesty and truthfulness also make you successful. Some people reach big milestones in their life, but if they have lied or indulged in dishonesty of some type or the other while reaching there they will soon be exposed and will fall from the grace of those around them. When they fall, there will be no one to shed a tear for them. Again, history in every organisation has shown these stories many times.

Always remember Honesty is considered the best tool of success in life. Without being honest in life, it becomes really difficult to make real and trustworthy friendships with anyone.

People who are generally used to telling truth can be able to build better relationships and thus a better world. So, being honest helps us a lot in many ways all through life. Honesty is the most effective tool for protecting relationships.

ALL HAVE PROBLEMS IN LIFE ..

Life is so complex that no one can escape from problems. The most important thing is how do we stay hopeful when we feel we are in the dark phase of life or we are deeply surrounded by problems.

The dark phase of life is the time when life challenges us to the core, and we feel as if sky has fallen into our life or it is an end to everything. As we think there is no way out, our hope begins to fall.

Everyone experiences such a phase in life . We all have the strength to get through it; we just have to stay hopeful and firmly believe we will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Reassure yourself that, like always, the difficult time will end this time too. Problems in life occur only because we act without thinking or  we just keep thinking without taking any action.

Sometimes, life will look blurry. Along the way in the journey of life, sometimes, life will be colder than warmer and sometimes warmer than colder but in all things we must remember that it is never over for a purposeful journey of life until the journey of life is over.

Be it rough or smooth, good or bad, we must accomplish the task. It shall always not be good and it shall always not be bad; we only have to work hard.

It is said “when life makes you sad; and it’s the worst you’ve ever had. Remember – life also gives its best lessons, When your time is terribly bad.”

Although it may seem never-ending, but no situation in life lasts forever. Pray, meditate, speak to trustworthy people, and try to find what you can do to help yourself. Reassure yourself that, like always, the difficult time will end this time too.

success means increasing one’s overall quality of life and get maximum satisfaction of one’s achievements.. Many a times we buy an expensive car or have an expensive holidays and feel proud when we come in front of others with such an accomplishment. 
Sometimes this pride even gives a wrong message. 


Most people today define success with material assets and feel big homes and rich jewellery worn is success. But have we ever looked within and talked to ourselves that where are we heading? All this is important  but it is high time we not let these comforts define our lives. Buy the expensive mobile phone if you want, but not for people to see, because that is not success. The desire to have more takes you on wrong path. That’s where you go wrong and realize that success is incomplete without contentment, and that could have been there, even before the dream was achieved. What is the use if you work all your life for these dreams but never feel satisfied after achieving them? So, enjoy success in the journey, enjoy the nice people you meet, enjoy the beautiful things and different scenes of life, enjoy nature, enjoy the food you like most , enjoy God and enjoy just being yourself – always be happy.

Values help us live with direction and purpose – like a guiding compass. Whatever is going on in our lives, our values can show us a path forward, and help us make better choices. Values are also intimately linked to our sense of self, and they’re essential for our mental health.


But values do so much more. They help grow and develop as people. They motivate us, give us a reason to get up in the morning, and give our lives meaning. One of the reasons why most of us feel a lack in our lives is a lack of contentment. In the want for more, we often overlook what we have already gained. STAY POSITIVE WHEN OTHERS AREN’T

No matter how positive we may choose to be, we’re always going to encounter others who pessimistic.Thankfully there are ways and means through which we can certainly overcome their negativity or redirect it in a way that helps them become more positive as well.


Here are few suggestions


You may not be the leader of your organization . You may not be driving the “big bus,” but you can decide to make your bus greater than what you have .
Every day just focus on being the best you can be and bring out the best in others while tuning out everything else. Tune out the negativity. Tune out the damaging comments. Tune out anything you can’t control. You can’t drive anyone else’s bus. Just drive your bus and make it a great ride.


It is said that 80 percent of the population vibrates to a negative frequency.The fact is negativity is all around us. It’s not just  pessimistic people around you but It’s everywhere. You must remember that your positive energy must be greater than all the negativity. As it is always suggested “Never wrestle with a pig because you’ll both get dirty and the pig likes it.”  Instead, stay above the fray. Positive energy is much more powerful than negative energy. If you stay positive, the negativity can’t touch you.


When you plant yourself where you are, with a desire to serve and make a difference, you will create very positive conditions for your growth. You’ll be surprised at how others start treating you more positively when you approach your work with a service mindset. They will sense something different in you and they will change the way they behaved towards you. 


Give all the pessimistic people around you a book on positive leadership. There are many great books out there.  Best of all, this change in leadership spreads throughout the organization. So don’t think you can’t change your situation or organization. You can. I’m convinced that very few people want to be negative. Most people are negative because of stress, busyness, and fear. Most people just need a wake-up call to break out of their rut. This is your opportunity to help someone else break free. Decide to be a beacon of light that shines on others. You’ll be amazed at what happens as a result.


If all else fails you have a choice. You can decide to stay positive and outlast pessimistic  knowing that truth shines through and eventually pessimistic people won’t last . 


Whatever you do, however, don’t allow a pessimistic to get you down. With 80 percent of the population being negative, we need positive powerful people like you to offset the negativity. So keep staying positive!

falling behind in life, you don’t have to
remind them. Believe you me, they already know.
If someone is unhealthy, they know. 
If someone is struggling in their relationships, with money, with self-image, with their job , they know. 
It’s what consumes their thoughts each day. 
What you need to do for those who are struggling is not to reprimand, but encourage , inspire and support. 
Tell them what’s good about their lives, show them the potential that you see and  guide them to get rid of their issues.
Love them where they are. 
When we can’t see clearly for ourselves, we need others to speak greatness over us. 
People don’t need you to tell them what’s wrong with their lives, they already know. They need you to reassure them that they can still make it right.
They need to have confidence that you will stand with them .

We all have unlimited potential, but most of it remains unexplored. When we face challenging situations in life requiring more strength, we find we are stronger than we thought of ourselves.


There are times when we feel pushed beyond our capacity to handle things. We cry, curl and fold in sadness and are on the brink of breaking down. Then the survival spirit within us gives us an unknown strength to rise again, face the challenges and overcome them.

GET RID OF IMPOSSIBLE !! 

“Impossible” – the word itself has so much of negativity and lethargy that it has killed many dreams and ambitions of many people. Many a times we lie ourselves that something is “impossible “to achieve as it’s very hard ! How many “impossible “ things in our life are really “impossible” ? 


We all have hundreds of excuses to make as to why we can’t do something worthwhile in our lives. If we can make excuses that take away a lot of energy and time , why don’t we make up excuses that inspire and enthuse us to do what we want to do ? Instead of giving ourselves reasons why can’t we  , give ourselves reasons why we can . If there is another human who can do what we think impossible, then definitely possible for us too. 


The ideas and inventions that were created in last 50/60 years seemed crazy when they were first attempted. Now we daily use them and can not imagine life without them .


The tale of great people and amazing discoveries let slip the truth that whatever a human being can conceive he/she can achieve. Your task is not to ponder how to make the things happen, rather to simply ask “why not” ? 
Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.


Remember what Napoleon Bonaparte said “Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools.”

Life isn’t about keeping score. It’s not about having many friends. It’s not about number of phone calls you receive every day. It’s not about your family or your bank balance. It’s not about the number of cards you are holding. It’s not about your face beauty. It’s not about the colour of your skin . It’s not about the brands of clothes you wear . It’s not about your smartness. It’s not about the size of house you own . It’s not about the vehicle you have . It’s not about your travel in business or economy. 

But life is about whom you love and whom you hate & hurt . it’s about whom you make purposely happy or unhappy. It’s about keeping or betraying trust. It’s about friendship , used as sanctity , or as a weapon. It’s about what you say and mean , may be hurtful, may be heartening. About starting rumours and contributing to petty gossip. It’s about what judgement you pass and why . It’s about whom you have ignored with full control and intention . It’s about jealousy, fear , pain , ignorance and revenge. It’s about carrying inner hate and love , letting it grow and spreading it . 


But most of all , it’s about using your life to touch or poison other people’s heart in such a way that could have never occurred alone . Only you choose the way these hearts are affected and those choices are what life is all about.

If you wish to carry one thing throughout your entire life, let it be Hope . It’s the Hope that makes you feel that better things are always ahead. It is Hope that makes you feel that you can get through even the toughest of times. It is the Hope that gives you strength to overcome any challenge that comes your way. It is the Hope that makes you understand where you are meant to be right now, and that you are on the path to where you are meant to be..

Because during easy or difficult times, Hope will be the very thing that carries you through. Always remember Hope is being able to make you feel that there is light at the end of the tunnel despite all of the darkness. It will also make you realise that there was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or your goal. Let your Hope not become your hurts, but shape your future. think it’s a mistake to ever look for hope outside of one’s self. It’s all within you .
