Leave a Little Sparkle wherever You Go!
Once, a friend of Dr Albert Schweitdlzer hosted a party in honour of him at a posh restaurant. When it was time to cut the cake, Dr Schweitzer poised the knife and counted the people. There were nine of them, but he cut the cake into ten pieces. Handing the tenth piece to the waitress at the restaurant he explained, “One piece for the young lady who so graciously served us.”
Dr Schweitzer is a fine example of persons who leave an indelible mark on people with their simplicity, integrity and dignity. When you look back, you will recognize the tremendous impact that some individuals have on your life. The presence of such beautiful souls is an inspiration to bring smiles to the faces of those around you.
A meaningful life is not about being rich, popular or highly educated. It is about being genuine, humble and sensitive to the needs of others.
