We people like to say that we are civilised, but the truth couldn’t be further from that.Although we have made a lot of scientific and technological progress, we are still behaving in an inhumane way. We’re fighting with one another, we are harming the animals, and we are destroying the environment with our everyday actions.
The individuals who have left an indelible mark on human history are the persons who selflessly dedicated themselves to a noble cause so that the future generations would have a better life to live. The world today fondly remembers these individuals who have sacrificed their present to make our future more colourful.
People who live only for themselves and spend their life only for themselves are easily forgotten after their death. But those persons who sacrifice themselves and spend their life selflessly Serving others even after their death will continue to live in the memory of people because of their magnanimous deeds. It is said “one who picks fruit is forgotten quickly, but who plants trees is remembered enduringly.”
Life presents before golden opportunity to make this world a beautiful place by a kind deed , a warm smile , a tight hug , a genuine gesture of appreciation, mindfulness and unselfish love for unloved. Plant a tree , creat cleanliness by creating awareness, save a child from a Disease , adopt a child for his schooling and many more such act,
All this is possible if you identify the important things in life , and consciously commit yourself to them because what separates a great soul from an ordinary one is the ability to distinguish the important from the unimportant things in life .
