REWARD FOR GOODNESS
Once a king was roaming around villages to ask about the well-being of his subjects. Then a button of his clothes broke and the tailor was called. When the tailor fixed the button, the king asked- what reward should be given for fixing the button.
The tailor said, “Maharaj, it was a very small job, it is my good fortune that I got a chance to serve you.”
The king wanted to see what the tailor asked from him, so the king insisted and asked what should be given, he said “Maharaj, whatever you wish, you can give it.”
The king told his minister to give two villages as a reward to the tailor. Now the tailor started thinking that he was asking for ten rupees and now the king made him the owner of two villages. Similarly, when we leave everything to God, then He gives according to his wish. Which is much more than the thinking of man.
