Peace starts with you – your family – your community and ultimately reaches the world. If Peace starts with us, individually, we can certainly take a step towards our goal and if this be so why do we not take that step today? Isn’t it sad that most families lack Peace in their household – in their families – in their businesses – in their communities?
We are all leaders and leadership is not a trend or an asset. It is a habit and we must use this habit of leadership to show the way towards our goal.
Service to the community should start with our families – but should not be limited to ourselves. We must promote love, respect, friendliness and happiness and spread these assets within the community we touch.
A hungry body, a sick body an illiterate body, a depressed body can never think of Peace, unless it is relieved of these impediments.
Here our service to the needy comes into focus. After achieving a comfortable level of some security, we can march together towards our objective. If we can maximize the happiness of others, we should be able to minimize unrest and strife.
This is one step towards Peace.
