THE POWER OF “WE WILL”

THE POWER OF “WE WILL”

Progress never begins with “someday.” It begins with decision. While a wish is only a hopeful thought, a will is a commitment to act—and that is the foundation of Rotary.

History reminds us of this truth. When the world saw polio as an impossible challenge, Rotary chose action over doubt. We did not say, “We wish polio would end.” We said, “We will end polio.” That determination changed the course of global health.

Every Rotary success follows the same path—belief backed by action. The moment we replace “I wish” with “I will,” confidence grows, focus sharpens, and real change begins.

As Rotarians, let us continue to think big, accept bold challenges, and take on projects that truly matter. Because when Rotarians say “We will,” the world listens.

Let us not wish for a better tomorrow.
Let us will it—and make it happen.
