“What we think, we become” says the Buddha. The ability to think and thank is something that makes humans unique and different. Psychology tells us that whatever you wish to accomplish in life you must first fix in your subconscious mind. So impress your subconscious mind with thinking and thanking.
Always think of something positive. Every dawn has something to look forward to. As soon as you get out of bed, think of something positive and make the day productive .
Watch your negative thinking. If thoughts of being helpless and hopeless continue to enter your mind, you might just need to take a nap and overcome such thoughts. Give a thought to what Norman Vincent Peale has said “Change your thoughts and you change your world”. So start thinking of yourself as the person you want to be.
Grateful people live great lives. Learn to thank God for what you are and what you have . You will be much happier if you focus on what you are and what you have. Be thankful for the opportunities that are everywhere around you, the things you enjoy doing, the place you live in, the friends you have and so on. Gratitude also turns your negatives into positives. Appreciate what life gives you every day and you’ll be happy.
And finally “Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” – Buddha
