March 8 is celebrated every year, as International Women’s Day . On this day, we specially honour, and recognise women and express our deep gratitude to them for what they do and sincere appreciation for what they are. It also reminds us of our duty to come together to create a world where women and men are respected, valued and treated as equals, free from various kinds of prejudices and discriminations.
Women Empowerment means making women strong enough to stand on their feet and make their own decisions. Women have been the victims of male domination and exploitation throughout the human history and even today, they’re deprived of many of their basic human rights. Nowadays, a great awakening is taking place all over the world for women empowerment. Rotary Clubs all over india honour snd felicitate women throughout the month of March.
“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform,” says Diane Mariechild, the famous author of Mother Wit. It’s enough that we encourage and support women to recognize and realise their real strength. Women’s empowerment has to be one of the top priorities in our country. Are we ready to make it one of th one of the top priorities in our lives .
