Integrity: Rotary’s Greatest Strength

“It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.” — Warren Buffett Rotary’s greatest asset is not its projects or achievements, but the trust it has earned through integrity. Every decision we make and every act of service should reflect honesty, transparency and accountability, guided by our Four-Way Test and the spirit of Service Above Self. Integrity is built through everyday actions. Small compromises may seem harmless, but over time they can weaken confidence and erode the values that define Rotary. Ethical leadership requires us to choose what is right, even when no one is watching. “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” Every Rotarian is a guardian of Rotary’s reputation. By leading with fairness, responsibility and compassion, we strengthen public trust and inspire others to serve. As Rotarians, we must remember that our true legacy will be measured not only by what we accomplish, but by the integrity with which we accomplish it. Ashok Mahajan SMILE SERVE SACRIFICE SATISFY
