Dear Fellow Rotarians,
The true value of a person is never determined by the position he or she holds. A title may give us recognition, a role may give us responsibility, and a position may give us authority — but these are temporary.
What truly defines us is our character, integrity, humility, and the positive difference we make in the lives of others. The respect we earn is not because of the chair we occupy, but because of the compassion we show, the commitments we honour, and the service we willingly offer.
In Rotary, we are fortunate to hold various leadership positions, but these roles are only opportunities to serve. The real measure of a Rotarian is not the designation attached to our name, but the lives we touch and the hope we bring to our communities.
Let us always remember that positions may end, but the legacy of kindness, service, and goodwill continues forever. Let us lead with humility, serve with dedication, and strive to leave Rotary stronger and the world a better place than we found it.
Because ultimately, we are not remembered for the positions we held, but for the difference we made.
