CHILD EDUCATION The many ills that face the world need a strong will to conquer and still stronger will to act . Eradication of poverty is a worthy project because poverty spreads its tentacles into many facets of our lives. Education, environment, health, functional literacy and many other facets of our lives are affected adversely by poverty poverty of money , poverty of commitment, poverty of ideas and poverty of motivation. Educating the illiterate is in itself - generating sources of assets. It is therefore, becomes imperative to give the proper attention to education. Rotary has a great source of resources Ileaders like you that can be harnessed effectively to promote education. It goes without saying that education has a wider connotation than merely the 3 Rs (Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic ) . If the populace under the umbrella of Rotary Clubs can be touched by our efforts to promote education, there would be enough impact on the quality of life of the communities. I urge you to use your good efforts to promote education so that a time will come when every family will have at-least one member who would shoulder the responsibility of ensuring a happy life .
