A NEW ROTARY YEAR !!
As we enter yet another Rotary year, the time has come once again when we talk about New Year resolutions. We talk about the death throes of the passing year and the birth pangs of the new. We recall joyful memories, eventful experiences and even disastrous happenings. However, these do not end in themselves, but make way for us to enter into another year of life.
There are many things going on around us which we are not happy with. Though, we cannot remove all that is unwanted, we can do something because every effort we make, no matter how small it is can surely make a difference. No matter what we are or how little we have, if we are prepared to give whatever we can, we will have the satisfaction that we are rally contributing:, says Thomas Cheruvil.
So friends, let us think positive with a daring idea and firm resolution. Make a com- mitment. Take steps to turn it into reality. Take each step with enthusiasm and commitment. As the Chinese proverb says. the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, It is important to begin the task. The moment we do, we have set in motion a chain of events to turn our resolution into reality. Let us put our ef- forts to see that Rotary Connects the World.
