District Assembly Dr Manish Motwani Good Morning , Rotarians and friends, It gives me immense pleasure to stand before you today at this Training Assembly, a moment where leadership, vision, and purpose come together. And today, I am here to appreciate someone who exemplifies all of that — our incoming District Governor Dr Manish Motwani , a truly knowledgeable and dedicated Rotary Leader . Next year, our District will be in his exceptional hands. His deep understanding of Rotary values, his tireless commitment, and his forward-thinking approach have already begun setting new standards. One such remarkable initiative is the physical distribution of the District Directory — a copy that will reach every single Rotarian in the District. It’s more than a book — it’s a symbol of unity, accessibility, and connection. But he hasn’t stopped there. His vision extends beyond our own circles. Each month, physical copies of his Governor’s monthlong Letter will reach not just Rotarians, but over 2,500 non-Rotarians. No District Governor has ever attempted this before. It’s a bold and brilliant step to widen our circle of influence, spark curiosity, and share Rotary’s good work with the wider community. All of this beautifully aligns with the message from our World President — “Unite for Good.” These words are not just a theme — they are a call to action. And our incoming Governor is showing us what that looks like in practice: uniting Rotarians through communication, connecting with the community, and inspiring us all to act with purpose.
